How to measure - telescopic door screen

How to measure:

An extendable width and height means you can create a door screen to suit any door size between 65-100 cm wide and 175-215 cm high without having to cut the aluminium frame.

If your door handle protrudes beyond the face of your door frame (i.e. the frame you will be fitting the screen to) when the door is closed, this may prevent you from fully closing the screen.

Solutions are:

1. If the screen is fitted to the inside of the property position the mid-bar in line with the door handle and allow the screen to rest against the handle when the door is closed
2. Fit the screen to the surrounding wall i.e. beyond the reach of the handle so that it closes fully. This may not always be desirable or possible if the surrounding surfaces are not flat or far enough forward.
3. Fit a secondary frame (we can provide uPVC framework) that finishes beyond the door handle and fit your screen to that frame. We can explain this in more detail if you wish to discuss further.
