This is a made to measure pull down/roll up screen. The fine insect mesh keeps out flies, wasps, bees, mosquitoes, spiders & other insects out whilst maintaining excellent airflow and minimal reduction in daylight. Ideal for all commercial environments such as kitchens, restrooms, restaurants, and offices.

If you’re based in the Highlands of Scotland, you can choose our Genuine 30 x 20 Midge Mesh to keep those midges out. A word to the wise if we may – don’t settle for anything less than a 30 x 20 mesh – we’ve tested alternatives such as 20 x 20 and these will not keep midges out.

Ideal for larger windows including standard casement and sash. To operate, simply pull down to cover the window then release and retract to store away until next time. This product has been tried and tested in businesses across the UK for more than 10 years and is one of our best-selling Fly Screens.

The screen can be fitted into the window recess or straight onto the window frame and you can choose a White, Anthracite Grey or Brown frame to suit your requirements. We also offer a colour coating service if you need to match a specific paint colour.

Once ordered your screen will be made to your measurements and supplied ready to fit. There is no cutting required – we do everything here at our factory. We send all fixings and a set of instructions. Most importantly - we are the end of the phone if you need some help.

How does this screen work?

In short, a bit like a roller blind but with a cassette and side guides.

The insect mesh is rolled on a tube inside an aluminium cassette which is fitted to the window in a similar way as a roller blind i.e. between the side walls or straight onto the window frame. Once fitted, side guides are located and fitted to the underside of the cassette then to the side walls or the window frame.

To use you simply pull the chain downwards (as you would a normal roller blind) over the window until it locks in place. When you've finished with the screen, pull the chain on the opposing side to return it to the head cassette.
