This is a made to measure screen. Fitted with our tried and tested Poll-Tex ® mesh. This mesh is highly effective at keeping pollen spores out, thereby reducing the impact of allergies such as hay fever and Asthma. The mesh has been tested by the Charité hospital in Berlin, (one of Europe's largest University Hospitals) and awarded Pollen Mesh Certification.

The screen will also prevent dust and of course all those pesky insects – even midges. With all these benefits, the mesh still offers a high degree of transparency and relatively good air flow. Just what you need to make the most of those warm summer days!

Suitable for single doors, sliding patio doors and french doors with a juliet balcony. Simply pull the screen across to cover your door opening then release and retract to store away until next time. The screen can be fitted into the door recess (between the side walls, lintel and floor) or straight onto the door frame around the opening and you can choose a White, Anthracite Grey or Brown frame to suit your requirements. How does this screen work?

The screen consists of a vertical cassette, top and bottom guides and a magnetic closing channel. The cassette, guides and channel are made with high quality powder coated aluminium.

The pollen mesh is rolled on an aluminium tube which is held in a cassette. The other end of the mesh is fitted to an aluminium bar (handlebar) which is used to pull the mesh out of the cassette - across the door. As the handlebar is pulled across, it slides in the top and bottom guide - this holds the mesh in place.

The mesh is also held under tension by a spring, located in the head cassette. The handle bar is secured in place with a strong magnetic strip which locates with a corresponding magnetic strip on a vertical closing channel.

When the screen needs to be opened, the handlebar is released from the closing channel and returns to the head cassette. A brake counter-acts the tension of the spring to ensure the screen returns slowly and smoothly.
